FAQ – Jen

Here are some frequently asked questions about Jen Nicomedes, your Feng Shui guide. If you don’t find the answer you are looking for, please contact us.

[Q] What’s the big deal about Feng Shui?

[A] It may sound mystical, but there are no magic tricks to applying Feng Shui. It is solely based on the energy flow of the space, the time, and the residences occupying the space, as well as the energy in the environment to pursue your goals, whether that is in purchasing, selling, renovating or constructing a new property.

Feng Shui changed my life. I’ve seen it work “magic” for clients and for myself.

My mission now is to teach, share, and promote it accurately and responsibly. I also intend to make Feng Shui accessible to people by debunking the myths, mysteries, and misconceptions around this ancient practice. My services are designed to empower people to cultivate a deeper sense of awareness with themselves and their environment, manifest their life’s endeavors by creating a special space with meaningful intention, and embrace this art as another gateway to promoting good health, happiness, and prosperity.

[Q] Can you share some personal Feng Shui success stories?

[A] There are so many to choose from, but here’s one that screams results! I recently listed our “Feng Shui” home for sale. I utilized the Date Selection method to determine the best date to list the house for sale. Within three days of listing it on the market, we had seven viable offers, went in escrow on the fourth day, and closed within 30 days.

[Q] How did you become interested in Feng Shui?

[A] Born and raised in Hong Kong, I grew up surrounded by the art of Feng Shui. I was always fascinated by the Tao philosophy, the ancient concepts and practices of Chinese Metaphysics, the science behind quantum physics and energy, as well as the architectural designs of homes and interior spaces. Combining my love for all of that and working with people, I decided to dedicate my life’s work to teaching, sharing, and promoting Feng Shui.

[Q] Where did you study the art form?

[A] I strongly believe that one must receive adequate training to practice and teach this ancient wisdom accurately and responsibly. I consider myself incredibly blessed to have studied under some of the greatest teachers of our generation. I received my training and certifications at the Western School of Feng Shui in California, Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics in Malaysia, and The Raymond Lo School of Feng Shui and Destiny in Hong Kong. [Q] How did you get into real estate?

[A] It started out as a part-time gig when I wanted to explore working outside of the corporate setting. In the beginning, I worked primarily with friends and family, but soon I discovered my real estate exposure was just the beginning of a career that would build to my work in Feng Shui.

With my Feng Shui background, I can provide a deeper and more personal level of service to my real estate clients who are also interested in exploring the art. Click here to learn more.

[Q] What’s the difference between classical and contemporary Feng Shui?

[A] I was trained in both classical and contemporary Feng Shui. And since I began my practice, I realized there are many different systems of Feng Shui. While it is important to offer a type of service that is generally viewed as more “popular,” or contemporary, it is equally – if not more –important to understand the classical roots and foundations of this 6,000 year old practice. With my background, I believe it makes me a well-rounded practitioner and I am able to merge the benefits from both and offer my clients choices.

[Q] Why are you the best?

[A] Personally, when I am seeking the service of others, I am not only looking at their experience and credentials, but I am also assessing my chemistry with them. With my work in Feng Shui and real estate, I know it is a very personal and intimate experience to share with someone. Trust and communication are among some of the key aspects to establishing a successful working relationship. Everything that I teach, I have done it myself. I share the same frustrations and challenges as you, and I also share the same wants and aspirations in life. Not only will I bring my experience and knowledge to apply Feng Shui responsibly, but you can trust that I am here to help you succeed.

[Q] Do you have any personal and professional references?

[A] Absolutely! Click here to review some testimonials from my clients. Personal references are available upon request.

[Q] What are you working on now?

[A] After releasing my first book, The First Guidebook for Feng Shui Enthusiasts, I’m happy to announce I’m working on my second book! I’m co-authoring a BaZi book with my teacher, Grand Master Raymond Lo. We hope to share this amazing knowledge by how we can integrate it with our daily life. It will be released in 2015. Stay tuned!
