“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” — Buddha
Feng Shui is often defined as “harnessing the benevolent energy of your physical environment to support your dreams.” Or at least that’s how I would define it.
As a matter of fact, traditional Feng Shui is not just about making the house happy, but it’s also about making the people living inside the house happy. Therefore, when assessing the Feng Shui for my clients, I look at both aspects together: people (BaZi) and space (Feng Shui). It’s a lot like examining two separate but interconnected and dynamic forces, and understanding how we can strategically match them up so you can get what you want out of life.
Sometimes it is about the money flow, sometimes it is for better health, or for the month of February, it may be about love. When our focus is on love, we all essentially want the same thing: to promote more love into our lives, to improve and enhance our relationships, and to enjoy human harmony. And amazingly enough, when Feng Shui is used properly, it can align our personal energy with the space in which we live in.
That’s why traditional Feng Shui is more than just locating the “love corner” of your house, placing objects randomly, or clearing clutter (thanks, Marie Kondo). While there’s nothing wrong with any of that, the truth is Feng Shui is much deeper than that.
For instance, I can take your birthday and tell you what kind of energy you’re putting out, and assess the Feng Shui your home and tell you what kind of energy the house is putting out. The key is to find a solution on how we can bridge both energies together. Therefore, if the energy you are putting out is to seek true love, to deepen an existing one, or even to heal from a broken heart, I can help you improve the Feng Shui of your physical space to support what you need. This way, your actions within your home is more deliberate and meaningful.
This Pig Year 2019, the prosperous and positive energies will occupy the Centerand Northwest sectors of our home. How will these positive energies impact your space will depend on the synchronicity of: (1) your personal energy (people/BaZi) and (2) your house’s energy (space/Feng Shui). And when both people and space are in perfect alignment, you will reap the benefits of what you seek!
If you ask: What can I do today to promote more love in my life? The answer is simple.
Get clear on your intentions. Be more loving. Purposefully look for love all around you. Be more compassionate to others. Look at things half-full. These are personal choices that you can do for yourself with or without Feng Shui. But if you want to go a step further to get the insights and answers about love and your relationships, then a proper Feng Shui evaluation and/or BaZi is the right way to go.
